It is waterproof, in addition to having built-in stirrups. Insulation is RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified: 60% down and 40 % feathers, with a Fill Power value of 550. We have added extra insulation to the seat to provide extra warmth for your little one while playing in the snow. The detachable hood is safe, as it comes of easily if it gets caught on something.
